Version: Waveme Child Theme 1.0.61

Summary: Updated New Release to prioritize community uploads and added continuation playback so listening can keep moving after a playlist naturally finishes.

  • Reworked the New Release page so newly uploaded community music appears first, ahead of Wavyl Exclusive playlists and admin-generated catalog fills.
  • Added community release buckets for creator tracks, creator playlists, and albums, with Wavyl Exclusive channels moved into their own clearly labeled lower section.
  • Excluded Wavyl Exclusive playlist tracks, Wavyl-branded playlist containers, admin-authored catalog fills, and future generated-source metadata from the community-first release shelves.
  • Updated the New Release social preview description to reflect the new community-first release focus.
  • Added a Wavyl continuation endpoint that chooses a next playlist or track queue from the same genre lane first, then related moods, activities, tags, and artists.
  • Connected the continuation flow to the existing player completion event so it runs only when a queue reaches its natural end.
  • Kept continuation separate from the core Play Block player so current playback controls, queue behavior, visualizer, and listen tracking continue using their existing paths.

Version: Play Block 11.2.54

Summary: Fixed a stale desktop player visualizer state, tightened mobile player pause behavior in narrow desktop/mobile layouts, and added desktop player hover tooltips.

  • Added custom hover and keyboard-focus tooltips to the rebuilt desktop player controls so icon-only actions identify themselves without changing the player layout.
  • Forced the rebuilt desktop player shell to refresh when the current visualizer eye control is missing or still using old markup.
  • Replaced the desktop visualizer SVG with a CSS-drawn eye glyph, gave the glyph explicit non-collapsing dimensions, and added a self-healing check that restores the eye button before Queue if the mounted control row loses it.
  • Kept the fix scoped to the visualizer control refresh check so queue, captions, volume, overflow, and playback controls continue using their existing behavior.
  • Fixed the rebuilt mobile mini and expanded player play/pause buttons so an active track pauses directly instead of relying on a legacy toggle state that can be stale in narrow desktop windows.
  • Refreshed the compact mobile bar when closing the expanded player, so the mini controls return immediately after pausing from the expanded view.

Version: Play Block 11.2.47

Summary: Refined Wavyl visualizer launch behavior and changed the visualizer action to an eye glyph across desktop and mobile players.

  • Fixed the desktop visualizer action so the first click opens the active visualizer canvas instead of requiring repeated clicks while the visualizer API finishes loading.
  • Changed the rebuilt desktop and mobile visualizer controls from equalizer-style bars to an eye SVG glyph that better represents visual mode.
  • Fixed the mobile expanded-player visualizer tap target by preventing an invisible homepage visualizer overlay from intercepting taps while the mobile player or visualizer is open.
  • Added a visualizer eye button to the compact player shown at the 1024px desktop/tablet breakpoint, covering desktop windows that use the compact player because of width or browser zoom.
  • Added file-based cache keys for visualizer assets so browsers receive the latest visualizer JavaScript and CSS after deployment.
  • Verified production desktop and mobile visualizer launch paths after deployment.

June 4, 2026

Versions: Play Block 11.2.43 hotfix, Waveme Child Theme 1.0.58

Summary: Improved waveform commenting, game-page playback defaults, playlist loading feedback, and rebuilt player stability.

  • Changed waveform comments so clicking the waveform itself seeks through the track without opening the comment composer.
  • Kept timestamped comments available from the pink plus button only, preserving the intentional add-comment path.
  • Verified the production track-page waveform flow so normal clicks seek and the plus button still opens the focused comment box.
  • Added default Wavyl playlists for known game and arcade pages, including Gaming, Synthwave, Focus, Ambient Tech, and Workout queues.
  • Added playlist loading feedback so track and playlist transitions show a clearer busy state while the player is preparing audio.
  • Improved playlist row state so browsing surfaces can reflect the active and playing track more reliably.
  • Hardened rebuilt player state, queue handoff, media-session metadata, and legacy playlist adapter behavior around track changes and natural endings.
  • Added PJAX-safe layout styling for artist, playlist, and album headers so those page layouts remain stable after in-site navigation.

Version: Waveme Child Theme 1.0.56

Summary: Made creator upload access visible and available for listener-first accounts.

  • Added a logged-in Upload entry fallback so new accounts can find the publishing flow even when their account starts as a listener.
  • Allowed listener-first accounts to enter the upload flow and promoted them to creator status when they begin publishing.
  • Updated account role capabilities so creator, listener, and administrator checks behave consistently across upload, earnings, and navigation surfaces.
  • Verified the logged-in upload page, production menu upload URL, public home, Discover, and Login pages after deployment.

May 18, 2026

Versions: Play Block 11.2.42, Waveme Child Theme 1.0.41

Summary: Synced single-track page playback controls with the persistent player and restored desktop volume controls.

  • Connected the play button near a track’s featured image to the same playback state as the footer player, so it changes to pause while that track is playing.
  • Synced the track-page waveform with live playback progress from the persistent player.
  • Restored a compact desktop volume slider and mute toggle in the footer player, with the same control available from the overflow menu.
  • Made repeat clicks on the current track’s page controls toggle pause/resume instead of restarting or creating a separate playback path.
  • Kept the existing footer player, queue, playlist rows, and legacy playback fallbacks intact while adding the sync bridge.

Versions: Play Block 11.2.42, Waveme Child Theme 1.0.41, Wavyl Bulk Import 1.0.2

Summary: Improved Wavyl Exclusive publishing, audio analysis automation, playlist row feedback, desktop player timing, and the mobile header.

  • Added a working Suno-to-Wavyl operating pipeline for generating, checking, cleaning, importing, and publishing Wavyl Exclusive tracks with local artwork and clean public metadata.
  • Prepared production import tooling for exclusive MP3s, including metadata cleanup, duplicate-title checks, embedded artwork handling, playlist assignment, and published station verification.
  • Updated Wavyl Exclusive playlist cards so subtitle and description text can be maintained more cleanly across the exclusive browsing experience.
  • Added upload-time audio-analysis scheduling so newly uploaded tracks can queue waveform/BPM analysis instead of relying only on manual backfill steps.
  • Packaged the Wavyl Bulk Import audio-analysis autoschedule update alongside the Play Block audio-analysis changes.
  • Added a production waveform backfill helper for running analysis against existing tracks when needed.
  • Improved playlist row state so playlist rows can reflect the active/playing track state more reliably while browsing.
  • Fixed the rebuilt desktop player timing/icon path so desktop controls display the correct time and remain visually consistent.
  • Simplified the logged-in mobile header to the core actions: menu, brand, search, and account/upload access through the drawer.
  • Restored the Wavyl logo beside the mobile wordmark and kept the mobile brand linked to Discover.
  • Updated admin packaging scripts so theme and plugin deploy ZIPs can be produced for these focused releases.

May 16, 2026

Versions: Play Block 11.2.39-11.2.40, Waveme Child Theme 1.0.35-1.0.36

Summary: Tightened the rebuilt player experience, login status UI, mobile controls, duration display, and deployment packaging.

  • Fixed player duration and waveform time behavior so track timing is more accurate across the rebuilt player surfaces.
  • Fixed the mobile expanded player total-time display so the expanded view reports the correct full track length.
  • Added rebuilt shuffle and repeat controls with playback wiring across desktop, mobile expanded player, and the player bridge.
  • Increased the mobile shuffle and repeat icon sizing so those controls are easier to see and tap.
  • Fixed the desktop rebuilt player play/pause click path so the main desktop play button toggles playback correctly.
  • Streamlined the login status UI and refreshed the related login template, theme styling, and compiled player assets.
  • Updated player waveform support code and rebuilt player assets used by the desktop and mobile playback views.
  • Updated Discover and child-theme player glue used by the rebuilt player rollout.
  • Created admin-ready deploy packages for each focused fix so they can be installed or reviewed independently.

April 26, 2026

Versions: Play Block 11.2.38, Waveme Child Theme 1.0.34

Summary: Stabilized the new Wavyl player rollout and improved first-use discovery.

  • Made the rebuilt audio player the consistent default experience across tested machines.
  • Fixed playback continuity issues that could briefly layer duplicate audio after repeated navigation or visualizer use.
  • Replaced fragile player icon rendering with more resilient controls so the player remains usable across browsers and machines.
  • Simplified signup so new users can create an account before dealing with creator setup or payout details.
  • Added a Discover fallback so new listeners with no play history see a real Start Listening rail instead of an empty Continue Listening state.
  • Added and linked public trust surfaces including Contact, DMCA, Terms, Privacy, About, Updates, and Creator Payouts.
  • Made the trust pages provision from normal site boot so public footer links resolve after deploy.
  • Polished public trust-page copy so the launch surface feels more complete for listeners, creators, and copyright contacts.
  • Smoothed onboarding/account copy across signup, login, profile, upload, stats, and statements so listener-first and creator-later flows are clearer.
  • Opened Browse, Discover, and Wavyl Exclusive as read-only exploration surfaces for logged-out visitors.
  • Fixed the mobile expanded-player visualizer action so it opens from the user tap and refreshed mobile action-button wiring for the current player bridge.
  • Improved mobile visualizer audio binding so it can fall back to the active Wavyl audio element when the rebuilt player core has track state but no media handle yet.
  • Hardened mobile visualizer launch from restored playlist state by promoting the snapshot track into runtime audio before initializing the visualizer.
  • Adjusted the mobile Visualizer button so real mobile browsers keep the user tap attached to the visualizer launch, then close the expanded player only after the visualizer is confirmed open.
  • Changed the rebuilt mobile Visualizer action to open directly into the full visualizer canvas and kick the active preset/render loop automatically.
  • Added a user-gesture-gated iOS audio analyser attach for the mobile visualizer, plus debug signal sampling to verify whether visuals are reacting to live audio.
  • Fixed the mobile visualizer auto-start path so the direct canvas launch uses compiled Butterchurn presets instead of falling back to a black canvas until a preset is manually selected.
  • Cleaned up the mobile visualizer preset-start follow-up so the direct canvas launch no longer emits a stale helper warning.
  • Changed rebuilt mobile player action pills to icon buttons for like, visualizer, lyrics, download, and purchase actions.
  • Fixed visualizer artwork handoff so rebuilt player tracks use their artwork, song, and artist links inside visualizer and mini-player UI.
  • Changed the rebuilt desktop player action cluster from text labels to icon controls for like, lyrics, visualizer, queue, download, and purchase actions.
  • Hardened the rebuilt desktop action icons against theme SVG styling so the controls remain visible after production deploy.
