Where is Everyone?

Empty skies, stars keep whispering lies,
A billion suns but no hello replies.
Galaxies spinning, a carousel ride,
Yet here we sit, a speck in the tide.

Dust on my boots, moonlight on my face,
Where’s the crowd in this infinite space?

Where is everyone?
Voices lost in the hum.
Are we the only ones?
The silence weighs a ton.

Nebula dreams, gas clouds choke my scream,
Signals sent, bouncing off a cold machine.
Planets dance, cosmic ballroom unseen,
Lonely beats in the universe’s stream.

Black holes swallowing secrets whole,
Wormholes bending but where’s the soul?
Radio static, the cosmos patrol,
Echoes don’t answer; they just console.

Where is everyone?
Voices lost in the hum.
Are we the only ones?
The silence weighs a ton.
